Hello,
My name is Tiffany, and helping students learn has always been a passion of mine.
I graduated magna cum laude from UCLA in June 2012 with my B.A in Economics and minors in Statistics and Environment. I tutored throughout HS and college, especially since I was interested in becoming a teacher. Currently, I work in the education research field, where I need to convey economics and statistical concepts in a clear and understandable way to people outside this field. I enjoy both the research experience as well as the "teaching" aspect.
The subjects I tutor in are math (pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, general Math), and economics. My tutoring style is to bring together the concepts, a variety of practice problems, and an intuitive understanding of what's going on. However, the specific lesson plan is tailored to the student and the subject matter.
