I am a recent college graduate who tutored all levels of French courses at Bryant University. I received tutoring certification from the College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA). I also spent three months in the Dominican Republic during the summer of 2010 teaching English and French to 40 students.

I really enjoyed tutoring which is why I am pursuing it after graduation. I am a native French speaker; I was born and raised in Toulouse, France before moving to the United States with my family in 2001. I like to adapt to the tutoring style that best suits my tutee. Together we can go over lessons and/or exercises. I like to have my tutee do most of the talking and I like him/her to understand why he/she is choosing a particular answer. We can also practice conversing, pronunciation, and reading comprehension.

I took the SAT II French test before beginning my undergraduate studies and received a score of 800 (the highest possible score).
Furthermore, during my undergraduate studies I worked as a peer tutor in my university’s tutoring center and tutored all levels of French courses.

ESL/ESOL

I am a native French speaker who moved to the United States in 2001. Upon my arrival, I was enrolled in ESL classes and became fluent in English in about a year.
The English skills I learned in these classes allowed me to integrate fully into life in my new country. I can now teach these skills to students who wish to learn English. I can also provide techniques that have helped me learn more efficiently.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
