Hi, I'm a Physics graduate from Middlebury College class of 2010 where I also tutored undergraduates in several entry level physics classes. I think the most important step in tutoring is to understand the student's learning style. While teachers of large classes don't have the luxury of tailoring their teaching style to each individual student, that is a tutor's responsibility.
My love of math started at an early age when I enjoyed how easily I grasped the concepts; however, I only appreciated it more as it got more difficult through the years, and I realized the mathematical thought process was more valuable than any individual idea. I will instill an effective mathematical thought process in any students willing to learn, which will give them the means to approach any problem, even if it seems to be beyond their current level of education.
