I'm a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a degree in French who recently returned to the US after living and teaching in France. As such, I'm a native English speaker who is fluent in French with teaching experience and a thorough knowledge of "real French" - from slang expressions used every day to formal language and 'formes de politesse'. Over the past couple of years, I've spent as much time gossiping with French students as I have writing official letters to the bank and visa office! I've worked with high school students, young children, and adults alike, and I'm willing to do anything from homework help to conversation hours to cultural studies.
I currently live in the District but am able to travel anyplace that is Metro-accessible. My preference would be to do lessons on the weekends but evenings are also a possibility. I look forward to meeting you!
