SAT Reading

I taught reading, language arts, writing and interdisciplinary courses in middle and high schools for 12 years. I truly enjoy challenging to think, read and write confidently and critically.

When I work with students to prepare for the SAT reading test, I offer exercises and assignments that will improve vocabulary and reading comprehension in all situations. I work to make sure the students go to the test site feeling confident and focused.

SAT Writing

For SAT Writing test prep, I use a combinations of resources and activities that help students develop the knowledge and skill they need to improve their writing in general and to apply that knowledge and skill within the context of the SAT test.

I show them how to address each category of question within the test and share strategies for time management that build confidence and help students concentrate on doing their best.

Elementary (K-6th)

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
