I am a skilled, caring tutor with over a decade of experience tutoring clients with learning disabilities, attention disorders, and executive dysfunction. Now a full-time tutor, my previous experience includes teaching at Maret, in Montgomery County Public Schools, working as a math and science learning specialist at Marymount University, and tutoring for the Lab School of Washington. I embrace a multi-sensory approach to instruction, and incorporate the latest technology in my sessions, along with some very low tech fun and games.

I have completed 500+ hours of tutor training at the Lab School of Washington, which is a school that specializes in language-based learning disabilities (dyslexia). I have experience with the Wilson Reading program, Orton-Gillingham, Phono-Graphix, and Reading Naturally.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
