I am excited to help you or your child become not only successful in their subject area of concern, but to also help them become confident in themselves. While you cannot make a child fall in love with every homework assignment, or college preparatory test, you can, I believe, help them fall in love with the feeling of accomplishment which comes with mastering a skill set.
I have lived and worked in the DC Metro area for the past four years. For the past two years, I have been teaching pre-K at public charter school in DC. My teaching assessments and high student scores show my success rate; I have also passed the Praxis II (Early Childhood Education). In addition to being knowledgeable and experienced in teaching children ages 3 to 7 in the traditional setting, I have also taught writing workshops for middle and high schoolers. I have a real love for writing and reading, and would love to help you or your child become a better writer and a more thorough reader.
