Hello,

I have been an ESL teacher for most of my career. I have taught at the junior high, elementary, adult, and college levels. I consider speaking and reading to be my teaching strengths. My approach is to assess a student's skill level and to construct challenging lessons based on that information. I love working with students and helping them to achieve their goals in English.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
