I have been teaching Arabic for the past ten years for adults and children. I have taught at the New School University, Columbia University, Hunter College, and at Arabic cultural and language centers. I am mostly interested in teaching serious and dedicated students who are seeking to learn Arabic and master it. I welcome serious students ranging from PHD candidates who are planning to conduct research in the Middle East to high school students try to learn a new useful language.
My methodologies vary depending on the learning styles of my students. My focus is mostly on teaching communicative language skills by using dialogues, language simulation drills, visuals, and listening comprehension activities.
My students are always surprised of how much they learn during my classes. I am sure that you will be surprises as well. Let me know when you would like to start learning Arabic and I will certainly help you attain this goal.
All the best,
