I have seven years of experience teaching sciences in New Orleans Public school system. I have level II certificate from the state of Louisiana. My latest teaching job before I gained admission into Howard was teaching science in the Newtech Network. Greater Gentilly High school is a part of this network and it utilizes project base instructions. Students are trained with the 21st century skills. Student are graded on various categories such as work ethics, content, collaboration, oral communication, written communication, computer literacy, etc. Teachers have to design projects that will incorporate the standards and grade level expectations. Student will work on these projects as teacher scaffold them through pertinent concepts.I have cherish and appreciated teaching and I am always willing to give it wherever or whenever it is needed.
