My name is Roosevelt. I'm a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts. I attended The University of the District of Columbia. I visited Hart School of Music in Hartford Connecticut for 3 months, also I visited Howard University where I was offered a scholarship.
Experience: Maury Elementary School in DC with their after study program. I volunteered teaching theory at USPS with various co-workers. I performed at various churches, halls and clubs using my own compositions and arrangements.
I tutored two students in bass and piano! My teaching methods combine physical practicing, along with theory. I have a 20 lessons to start, then another 20 lessons plans and so on. I do add scriptures in my lesson, because this is where the understanding comes in to play. A student cannot grow unless he/she understands each lesson.
