I have helped more than 400 people successfully take the LSAT, with students scoring as high as 179. I have many current students attending Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, Stanford, Georgetown, UVA, GW, Texas, and other great law schools. I am familiar with every LSAT released during the past 22 years, and I am able to show you how to break down and solve every problem, including every logic game -- in terms that make sense to you.
I have met personally with LSAT test-writers. I work in professional conference room space (not Starbucks!) so that we can study without distractions. I have conference room space at 17th & Penn NW, and I also offer online tutoring.
I scored a 176 (99.6th percentile) on an officially administered LSAT, which you can verify during our first session by logging on to my LSAC profile. I have scored 180 on three proctored LSATs since then. I also have top scores on the GRE (168 V/168 Q out of 170) and GMAT. I have been tutoring since 2005.
Students who work with me realize an average 11-point gain on their LSAT score. I have worked with many students who have already taken Kaplan, PowerScore, TestMasters, or Princeton Review courses. Your LSAT score, along with your GPA, is a primary determining factor for your admission to law school and scholarship consideration. What I expect from you:
Commitment and follow-through. If you really want to conquer the LSAT (or GRE/GMAT), if you really want to be on top of your game, and if you're really willing to put forth the effort that it takes, call me. After we meet the first time, we'll set out a study plan for you to follow between lessons. I expect you to prioritize, to ask any questions that come to you, and to work diligently.
What you can expect from me:
Expert insight, responsiveness to your questions, and practical teaching. I will be patient with you and target our approaches to your learning style. Unlike a Kaplan or TestMasters program, I will stay at or just slightly above your level at all times. You will learn something useful every time you see me, and you will leave with a clear understanding of how to apply what you have learned.

Law School Exam Coaching:
I offer one-on-one tutoring to law students - primarily to 1Ls (in Contracts, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Torts), and to LLM students (in areas such as International Business Transactions and ICC Arbitration).
I primarily offer help with the following:
1) Reviewing your substantive course material with you to help you prepare a short, useful outline (my outlines are usually 1-4 pages, not 50+)
2) Creating a solid one-page attack sheet to guide your exam essay responses
3) Running through as many hypos as we can to make sure you can spot issues, see every argument, and conduct thorough analysis without foreclosing any arguments
4) Providing you with full exams to complete on your own time, which we can review in subsequent sessions
I earned straight A+ grades my first semester at GW Law. Since then, I have maintained a 4.22 GPA, and I won Best Oralist at the 2013 Moot Court National Championship. I also taught Civil Procedure to GW Law 1Ls as a Teaching Assistant. Law school is different, but it need not be difficult.
