I am an IT professional with 14 years of experience supporting database and learning management systems. I hold a graduate degree in Information Science from University of Pittsburgh and a graduate certificate in Database Systems Technology from University of Maryland University College where I've also served as teaching staff in the Department of Computer Information Systems. I provide training in basic to mid-level database/web programming, survey methods, statistics (qualitative and quantitative), data mining, modeling, reporting and analysis including trend and gap analysis and business intelligence.

I tutor on-site and remotely and am passionate about information literacy. Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Microsoft Access

I have a certificate in Database Systems Technology with experience in data mining, data warehousing, db design and development (including dml, ddl and dcl commands) in Oracle 11g and MS SQL 2010 environments.

I've successfully tutored a few students in MS Access and SQL programming through Wyzant.

The best of the best!!! — Randi is amazing. She was very easy to reach and immediately set up an appointment with me. She came prepared and was extremely patient. Randi is incredibly smart, but was able to explain statistics to me in a way which made learning the material very clear. She is very kind and professional. I would recommend working with Randi to my colleagues. ...
