Olga is a terrific teacher. Her technique is highly personalized, and she uses the student's experiences to create teaching moments in everything we discuss.

She engages the student throughout the lesson with a lot of variety, so her lessons are never boring. She is on her game from start to finish, and her energy never flags. Even with all the variety, though, she is extremely well organized, and stays focused on key concepts. She constantly monitors and challenges the student to make sure that the concepts are understood.

I should add that studying with Olga is fun; she uses jokes and proverbs to make her points, and throws in bits of linguistic history to keep things interesting. I've had an excellent experience studying with her, and I'm sorry that I didn't get more time to work with her. I'd recommend her strongly to anyone who is, as she stresses, a committed student.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
