French Lesson: I was born in Toulon, in the heart of South of France. There I pursued a degree in communication. After growing up all over France, I decided to attempt the adventure of going to the United States. Even though I was learning the American culture and language, I still wanted to share my background, my culture and language with others. I have experience in teaching French at Berlitz Languages and in elementary schools such as Murch Elementary School and the Filmore School in the Washington area. I prepared course objectives and outlines for course of study, conducted classes in French, lectured, demonstrated and used audiovisual teaching aids to present subject matter to class. In addition to developing visual aids, board games, flashcards, vocabulary charts and all language materials, I like to use up-to-date real life scenarios in my classroom as well as in study materials. I have excellent rapport with both children and adult learners.
Spanish Lesson: I have a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language with a concentration in Spanish. I have experience in writing essays in Spanish and a great command of grammar. If you are a student who needs help with your grammar or your essays, or you simply want to learn Spanish I would be more than happy to help you. I teach beginner and intermediate level.
I believe that learning a language is just not about the language, it's also about the culture, the idioms, the "why of the how" and the history. I love to share my knowledge and experience. Piano Lesson: I have been playing piano for 20 years and my background is classical music. I have taken piano lessons with one of the best teachers in France. I have won honorable mention, second place, third place, and other awards at numerous competitions in France. I am currently pursuing an associate degree in Music at Northern VA Community College. I teach beginner and Intermediate level.
