I am a young professional with two years of peer-to-peer tutoring experience in literature, language arts, and creative writing. While guiding peers and students toward improved writing is my passion, I also have experience with peer-to-peer tutoring in social studies and government, philosophy, sentential logic, and basic computer science.
In college, I worked for our campus' Writing Center, helping peers develop their writing skills. I also having training in English as a Second Language tutoring, and worked with our diverse international student population in various subject areas.
My ultimate goal in any tutoring session is to render myself obsolete. I use the Socratic method to help students develop critical thinking and find solutions to their challenges.
