I started tutoring when I was a high school student and continued through all my years of college and graduate school. I find it very rewarding helping others overcome their struggles with math and physics.
To me, tutoring is not just homework help. It means finding the knowledge gaps and/or misconceptions, and helping the student build their skills on a solid foundation.
I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Physics. I hold a BS and an MS, both in Physics. As part of my graduate teaching assistanship I taught various college level Physics courses, and received the Outstanding Teaching Assistant award from the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT). Recently I was Physics teacher in a private high school in MA.
