I have been working with computers ever since I can remember. I grew up with them. With that, came an interest as to how everything worked. I guess that is the Engineer in me. Math
were always my strongest studies, but computers intrigued me. My first computer
only had DOS
and the big floppy disks. I have been working with computers ever since. I taught myself as much as I could, but whatever questions I had left were answered by my uncle, a Microsoft Certified Expert, and later, my colleagues. What I wish I had however, was someone like myself now, a tutor.
I was introduced to Computer-Aided Design (CAD
) 12 years ago. My teacher saw potential in me and really threw me into the middle of it all; meanwhile I just saw the equivalent of a video game, and it was so much fun. From there I was recommended as a junior in high school to work as an Engineering Assistant and CAD Drafter at a local manufacturing company. I started with AutoCAD
14. Since then, I have continued to work as a Designer, in various fields, learning the many ways that CAD can be utilized. I also learned other programs along the way and I am willing to teach whatever I know; please contact me if you have questions.
I want to pass my knowledge onto others. The best way for this type of tutoring or training, I find, is hands on. I would have you sit in front of the computer and actually do whatever it is you want to do, while leading you along the way, and giving you some easy ways to remember what you have learned. I have already helped several people in all different age groups; some want to learn just how to turn on a computer, others want to learn a specific program. Either way, I can help. I have no problem traveling, and my schedule is usually open, for I work for myself now, from home, as a self-contractor, doing the Engineering and CAD work I always wanted to do. Feel free to contact me for a session.
