Hello, my name is Laura. I just completed a teaching internship and Master's Degree program in Early Childhood Education at Lesley University. I enjoy working with students to help them gain a better understanding of material in math and science, and have worked in depth with children learning to read and sound out their letters. I also have experience with the handwriting program known as "Handwriting Without Tears." I know that math can be frustrating for some young children, so I tend to create word problems that involve student interests and will also use math manipulatives if the child is more of a visual learner.
