Hi! Currently enrolled in a M.Ed. in Bilingual School Psychology program in New York, I've worked in education and with languages since I graduated from UVa because, well, that's what I love to do! I speak Spanish fluently as I lived in Spain for over 4 years, where I received a M.A. in Translation. Last year I lived in Italy, where I studied Italian with a private tutor of my own.

I am confident that I can help you learn Spanish (all levels) and Italian (up through intermediate) in an engaging, practical way. I adapt that each tutoring session is each student's learning style, level and goals. I am patient, yet hold high expectations for myself and my students. I am still in touch with many of my private and school-based students.

While living in Europe, I taught ESL to both children and adults. I enjoy working with each age group for different reasons. Please let me know if you'd like to improve your English language skills, or need to study for the TOEFL or another proficiency exam.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
