As an individual who has been working with children for well-over 8 years I have seen and demonstrated unlimited amounts of techniques and ways to reach success. Through Central CT State University I have spent countless hours in and outside of the classroom, tutoring and helping students reach their full potential. To help a child achieve happiness through knowledge is the ultimate success in life, and if one teacher can't do than trick than two should! I have also spent time in Jamaican schools and seen techniques that most would find absurd, yet they work just as well as any other strategy. My key strategy is to find the student's passion and be able to relate the materials to that passion. Making connections is a technique used in all grades and proven successful because the ability to retain information is more successful. Bottom line, I will do anything in my power to bring success to your child.
