I'm a native English speaker from the Midwest, and will soon be TEFL certified. I've taught tennis to both kids and adults, and I've successfully tutored various subjects in college. I'm an avid language enthusiast, having studied Japanese and German extensively, and dabbled in Chinese, Korean and Spanish just for fun! I know and understand how difficult it is to learn a new language, and what kinds of obstacles learners will encounter.

I won't hide that fact that I have no experience teaching English, but I think my other teaching and learning experiences, and my intellect and attitude will make me a great tutor! If you need a tutor with inside knowledge of the various tests and certifications, unfortunately I may not be the right person for the job, but if you just need help understanding and practicing English, I'm sure I can help you. Tennis

I've played tennis since I was 9, and took private and group lessons for about 9 years, which gave me lots of exposure to how tennis can be taught. I taught both adult and kids group lessons and private lessons in the past, and I've taught several of my friends recently with great success! If you're a complete beginner, want to get to a competitive level, or are trying to shed some rust from a long dry spell, I'd be happy to work with you.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
