I am an experienced Russian and Hebrew tutor. I studied at the Open university of Israel. I was a Hebrew tutor at the Yeshiva Academy (a daily Hebrew school) of Harrisburg, PA. I worked there with the children of different ages and backgrounds. I also taught the history of the State of Israel and the Jewish holidays. In a local area, I substitute as a Hebrew teacher.
The Russian language is my native language.
I am proud of the fact that I not only pass the technical knowledge and practical experience of those two languages to my students but also teach them how to love and appreciate those rich cultures and traditions.
As a tutor, I am trying to make each lesson interesting, useful and unforgettable.
When I work with a group of students, I also make sure that each and every child learns and not is neglected because he or she is not alone in the classroom. I understand that some kids may be shy to ask a question even if they didn't catch something. So, it is important from the beginning to create an atmosphere where everybody can feel free to be himself or herself.
I love working with kids and also adults. Being a good teacher, working even with one student at a time, seeing my students advance in their knowledge are what I am about.
I also have a business degree from University of Connecticut.
