I am a certified elementary school teacher and school counselor. I am a patient and creative person willing to work with all types of students. I graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston in 2008 and currently reside in North Haven, CT. I completed my M.S. in School Counseling in 2013. I currently work as a school counselor. I'm open to many ways of teaching and will do my best to tailor my lessons to my students' needs. I have experience working with students in kindergarten through adulthood as a tutor, school counselor, teacher, and paraprofessional. I have experience working with children who are on the autism spectrum, have processing disorders, speech issues, and behavioral issues. I have also worked with adults learning English as a second language.

My proofreading skills are strong and can be helpful when editing essays for college admissions as well as for general assignments. My teaching strengths are in ESL, proofreading, writing, improving reading comprehension, and teaching effective study habits. I hope I can be of assistance to any child/family who is in need of support. I am also open to working with groups of people if this is more helpful to my students.
