I am a math teacher at a high school in Litchfield County. I have been teaching for 10 years and also tutoring much of that time. I enjoy teaching math and helping students understand and apply the topics.
I received my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Bloomsburg University. I worked in Business when I graduated but my calling was education. My mother was a teacher so it was inevitable. I continued my education at Lehigh University and worked as a math teacher at Northwestern High School. This job provided me with so much experience and helped mold me into the teacher I am today. From Northwestern I moved onto a small private school and then back to a public high school in NJ. I moved from the Northwestern position because it was short term to fill in for a teacher on maternity leave. I left the private school due to funding.
After teaching in New Jersey for five years I moved to Connecticut with my husband, where I have been teaching for the last four years. I have also taught at the Yale gifted and talented program.
