I am an experienced and certified Special Education teacher who has provided public school, Home-Bound (Ansonia, Seymour, state technical high schools), private, and agency educational tutoring for the past 6 years.

With a Master's degree (3.95 GPA) I have had great success in assisting students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in test-taking SSAT, PSAT, SAT, GRE, ASVAB, GED, achieving proficiency-goal in K-12 all subjects, assessment of special education needs to gain services within their school setting, and gaining entrance to private schools.

My students have received Academic Awards for greatest improvement; one made honor roll (9th grade); one scored in 95th percentile on SSAT; 3 previously failing seniors successfully graduated; a WyzAnt student earned an 'A' grade finishing an on-line class early after failing 2x; and many elementary/middle school students achieved proficiency in grade level skills of core subjects, particularly math, science, and reading.

My strengths include motivating and engaging lessons, utilizing strategic tutoring methods, and providing immediate feedback to students. I utilize research-based assessments of current skills and work toward achievement demonstrated through post assessments.
