I have gained tremendous experience over the past six years of teaching, tutoring and mentoring. I have an immense understanding of the Math and Science curriculum needed to be successful in the SAT, ACT, Subjects Tests (chemistry and biology), and the state standardized high school tests (CMT, CAPT, etc). Elementary (K-6th)

I have been professionally tutoring elementary students for the past three years for the state of Connecticut through the No Child Left Behind Program. 95% of my elementary students are between K-6th grade. As a professional tutor for tutors of America, I have gained experience in working with elementary grade students.

Piano

As a music conductor for Christian Fellowship Ministry, I am able to read, scale and compose music. As well as playing the piano. I have been playing the piano for thirteen years and I am very proficient in piano treble, bass and mid music notation. I am also proficient in Piano chord progressions and programs as well as Piano scaling.

ADD/ADHD

For the past three years I have been tutoring for Professional Tutors of America. With my knowledge in clinical and behavioral science, ninety percent of my assigned students suffer from the learning disability. Ranging from ADD/ADHD, downs syndrome, autism,schizophrenia and emotional instability. I provide tutoring services to special education students through Connecticut DCF (Department of Children and Families), and also through the NCLB organizations.

My Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences required me to complete four semesters in Organic chemistry and one semester in Organic chemistry synthesis and lab. My Master's program in genetics required me to be proficient in organic chemistry modules as well as various skills in organic molecular spectroscopy. My vast knowledge in Organic synthesis makes me proficient in tutoring this subject.

Praxis

I have an immense knowledge in the required curricular for the Praxis test. I have a broad understanding of the quantitative analysis and reasoning portion of the test. With over six years of tutoring experience in exam prep for Math and Verbal, I am well suited to provide the academic proficiency needed to be successful in the Praxis test.

Criminal Justice

I have been tutoring and providing lectures through professional tutoring to prepare individuals taking the State's Police and Officer Training Entrance Exams. I am proficient and familiar with the math curriculum on the Criminal Justice's exams as well as the verbal sections on the Criminal Justice Pre-Exams. For the past year, I have also provided tutoring for aspiring Criminal Justice students and Officer Training and Passing Exams.
