Experienced tutor with expertise in MS Office, Math SAT and English

I currently tutor Math, English and MS Office and previous to that I worked for five years as a Reporting Analyst for an online marketing firm. I worked extensively in Excel, PowerPoint and Access and trained staff in their use. I am an expert in MS Office, in particular Excel. I am well versed in everything in Excel but in particular using formulas, pivot tables and macros to automate complex tasks related to correcting, organizing, analyzing and presenting large amounts of data. I am also an expert at creating PowerPoint presentations and managing databases in Access.

I also have a B.A. in Economics so I have a strong background in math, I scored 700 on the math section of the SAT. I currently tutor Algebra, Geometry and SAT math and am very proficient in all of those subjects. I also taught English courses to high school students in college and have a strong background in English as well.

I am highly competitive and believe in any situation getting the most out of yourself means learning to have fun with whatever challenge you are facing. I also believe in developing a strong foundation in the basics in order to facilitate learning on the more advanced topics. My goal is to make the coursework fun for the student by finding an approach to learning that works best based on their particular needs.
