My son really likes Diane and he IS learning. Boys can be tough so I feel I got very lucky when I found Diane. If I were to describe Diane in one word, it would be patient. Never met someone so knowledgeable about accuplacer tests or algebra in my whole student career. Diane was very reasonable when it came to price, and teaching always came first. She even exceeded the time we agreed upon just to make sure what I learned stuck.

This is an update of our experience with Diane, the tutor we chose to work with our College student that had such a delay in Math we did not think it would be possible to pass a College Algebra course. Diane exceeded all our expectations. She was quick to accommodate our daughter's schedule, never missed a class and we had no problem getting in touch with her. Diane was able to unlock my daughter's phobia with Math, she was able to actually teach her valuable steps that ultimately helped her understand the subject and was instrumental in my daughter's success. My daughters were very skeptical about being tutored in their least favorite subject for a test they are dreading. After only one lesson, they feel encouraged and a lot less intimidated. They both felt Diane is very nice, supportive and knowledgeable. They are actually looking forward to working with her. What a relief for me!
Diane has continued to be extremely helpful and supportive. My daughters are feeling much more comfortable about the upcoming SAT test. I'm glad she suggested starting the lessons when we did otherwise it would have been a lot more pressure. The pace has worked out well and the girls are much more confident. One will be taking the test next week. We are eager to see her performance.

Diane is wonderful! She made me feel a lot more confident about taking the Praxis math test. She works with me step-by-step to make sure I have the skills I need to apply myself when taking the test. I love her sense of humor, encouragement. It is always difficult doing something that you are not completely comfortable with in front of another person, but Diane is very patient. My favorite thing about Diane is the way she breaks down the math problems, while many people follow a series of “steps” when doing math problems Diane looks at the important key components in the problem and breaks it down into a better understanding way, she also had many helpful tricks that will save a lot of time when solving certain difficult problems.

I was looking for a math tutor for my 11th grade daughter to help her brush up on her math skills prior to taking the SAT test. I reviewed Diane's profile and felt that she would be a good match. I contacted her and she replied in a timely fashion. Diane was enthusiastic, upbeat and had many good ideas on how to get my daughter up to speed. She wasn't about the "quick" sale. She offered a variety of options to fit the pocketbook of the parent and I really appreciated that. So many times the SAT prep is all about the money, so having the opportunity to have a qualified professional work one on one with your child and also offer a reasonably priced service was invaluable. These sessions were for a student hoping for an even higher score than he had on the SAT. He had more room to improve in the verbal sections, for which I gave him pointers, than in the math, and did very well.
