I offer high-end tutoring and coaching services. I have extensive experience tutoring students from the elementary through the graduate level in a wide range of subject areas. I have offered private tutoring services for over 10 years and have worked with students in every major subject area as well as general study skills and test prep. I have personally scored above the 90th percentile on the PSAT, SAT, GRE, LSAT and Praxis exams. I also have a high degree of expertise in the college application process and have had success helping students and gaining acceptance myself, at public and private universities from large State schools to Ivy League institutions. Study Skills

I have a great deal of experience at both the academic and athletic levels, teaching people how to plan. This includes budgeting their time, attention to detail, becoming aware of their traits as they lose focus. Specifically, for students, learning how to organize a notebook, becoming aware of what information they want out of their notes when studying/doing homework, and organizing their notes based on those needs.

Swimming

I have been a swim coach for the previous 10 years. I am certiefied as a Level 2 Coach by the American Swim Coaches Association. I currently offer private lessons to individuals and am the Assistant Coach at Fairfield University.

Track & Field

I have coached Cross Country at the High School level in the past. In 2010 I took the classes and was certified as a Level 1 Coach by USA Track & Field.

College Counseling

I have a B.A. in English and have gone through the application process at many different levels (undergrad both initial and as a transfer), Law School, Graduate programs for Education and History, as well as MFA programs for Creative Writing. I have an excellent track record with acceptances and know what admissions officers look for in college essays. Additionally, I have 10+ years helping students prepare for and go through the admissions process.

Praxis

I have a Master's in Education and have a great deal of familiarity with the Praxis I, and many of the Praxis II exams. I have offered many advice/help with the format of the exams, and have tutored in content knowledge for specific Praxis II exams: English, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, etc.

Social Studies

I graduated with a Master's in Education from Sacred Heart University. As part of the program I went through the certification process to become a certified teacher in grades 7-12 fro Social Studies and English. Additionally, I completed my student teaching at Trumbull High School in both the English (2 classes) and Social Studies (3 classes) departments.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
