I received my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, double majoring in Linguistics and Middle Eastern Studies. Through this coursework and experience I am skilled at assisting students of English with many aspects of developing their language skills, including phonetics, grammar, and conversational skills. Additionally, due to extensive research, I can develop practice techniques specific to overcoming issues directly related to native language interference.
Beyond teaching English, I have also studied Modern Standard Arabic at the Defense Language Institute, and am capable of giving basic level of instruction, including reading, writing, and speaking. I also studied Modern Hebrew at University and on my own for years, and am equally capable of giving basic level instruction.
Lastly, if you need assistance with web site design, I have been designing, updating, and maintaining websites for individuals, companies, and departments within universities for 10 years.
