Microsoft Word

Word is a very powerful word processing program. We'll get you started so you can find your way around. You'll learn how to set up and create your work and save it. Then we'll move on to formatting, copy & paste, inserting text, clip art and pictures, headers & footers, and breaks. We will create word shapes. If you have a need, we will cover mail merge and document collaboration.

Sewing

I have been sewing for 40 years and possess highly developed skills in all aspects.

Depending on your knowledge, we will cover basics for completion of a sewing project. Overview of the operation of a sewing machine and its components. Using, developing and cutting patterns. Straight, stretch and zigzag techniques. Zippers, buttons and buttonholes. Hemming your project.

AutoCAD

I possess a B.S. in Interior Design and have 25+ years in the design field. AutoCAD is an essential part of any design project. Since software is ever evolving, keeping up to date with the latest versions is vital.

AutoCAD is a program to create technical drawings.

I possess a B.S. in interior design and am proficient in Revit.

Revit is a program to create technical drawings into 3D images. You will learn the interface, toolbars and commands and how to navigate through the views. Set up your project. Develop levels, sections and elevations. Add elements such as windows, doors, floors, ceilings and other components. Add colors and textures to render and print your drawing with photo-like quality.
