I have two words for Dan W, Inspiring and Transformational. First, he made himself available within the frantic time requirements of a student late with homework and ignorant of the key points in order to complete it. Second, he was a great teacher, guiding me through the logic I needed to understand the material. Lastly, and most importantly, he transformed my attitude. I was feeling incompetent and incapable of learning the material. Within an hour, Dan had me "on my feet" with a positive attitude and a clear view of the methods needed to complete my homework. Now, instead of wanting to drop the course, I'm moving ahead with it, confident about myself again, and eager to continue. Thank you Dan W. (I shouldn't be telling you this. He'll be less available to me in the future as a result, spending time with you instead.)
