I have been a college professor for 15 years and have taught thousands of students in political science, social science and history. I have worked with all ages of students, from elementary through adult. I studied and conducted research in Germany for four years, possess near-native fluency and love to speak German. I have experience tutoring all ages in German, from elementary students through adults. It can be a tough language but is definitely worth the time and effort! I strive to make learning German fun by combining practice in conversation and grammar. I am an award-winner author of a book and many scholarly articles, and my passion is writing. I love to help students write better and I'd be happy to help with research papers, essays, and college or graduate school application essays. I can also help you with social studies, especially with civics/political science/government and American and European history. And I can help you to develop better study skills. I believe that EVERYONE can learn! That's why I am a professor. I am very patient, enthusiastic and motivating. When I'm not teaching or writing, I love spending time with my family skiing, hiking and camping. I also play guitar, scrapbook and paint.
