I have a total of twenty-five years of teaching experience: 15 years with special needs children k-12, and regular elementary education classroom students (grades 3 and 4) for ten years. I am very aware that all students learn differently, and need to have lessons presented through various modalities - visually, auditorily, and kinesthetically (including movement) - in order to understand and master the concept. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Masters degree in Education/Special Education. I use a creative approach, often with hands on materials to help clarify the learning. I am very patient and offer kindness and a sense of humor to keep my clients going. Learning can be fun!
I have tutored adults in ESL and students at Front Range Community College in writing and psychology.
I would be very happy to help you or your child to move toward academic gain, grade level performance, or acquire basic readiness skills, whatever your life situational needs call for. I am available to help. I care, and I am here to support you.
I AM HIGHLY SKILLED WITH SPECIAL NEEDS LEARNERS!
