I am currently in the process of obtaining my teaching license from the Colorado department of education for Science education. This will qualify me to work as a biology, chemistry, life science, earth science, or physics teacher. I have a bachelor's of science majoring in biology, with a minor in chemistry. Within those degrees there is also a lot of math; general algebra and geometry are my strong spots.
I currently tutor at a high school for study skills classes and give help where I am useful. I have a ton of experience writing papers including the 5 paragraph essays common on CSAP. I currently assist students on IEPs and 504 plans.
I have reliable transportation and am willing to meet at your home, the library or other quiet space, or at my home in Highlands Ranch. I also have references if needed.
I am very excited about becoming a teacher in the fall and intend to continue my tutoring work after the start of school, and I hope to be of use to as many students as possible.
