Hello! I am currently a mathematics teacher at a small private school but truly enjoy being able to work with students on a individual basis. So many students have difficulty in math but they fail to recognize that learning math is more like learning a foreign language than something you are naturally "good at." I believe that everyone can learn and that most of the time, it is a matter of going back to the place where the student got lost rather than trying to just press on with 60% understanding.

In addition to mathematics, I am available and qualified to teach Theology and history, as well as coaching soccer. I have degrees in theology and have taught at the college level. I also have extensive experience coaching - at the youth level - and playing soccer - at the youth and college level.

My tutoring methods vary from student to student, depending on their level of understanding, experiences, and commitment to understanding the subject. I have tutored students in various situations; some who just needed to pass their class and only gave me two sessions before their final and others who were homeschooled and needed the whole class taught to them. I am ready and willing to work with students in all situations and truly believe that together we can make an impact.
