Students are fueled by their own achievements. My goal is to guide students to experience accomplishments that spark motivation. I establish high but realistic expectations; use positive reinforcement; match teaching technique to learning style; and ensure that learning experiences enhance self-esteem.

I am a certified public school teacher with extensive experience in tutoring regular and special education students of all ages. I tutored at-risk students in public-funded math and reading programs and have tutored special education students with varying diagnoses including ADD, ADHD, autism, Asperger's, and developmental delays, and have used a variety of research-based techniques including ABA therapy. I developed an ESL curriculum for a language conservatory and a French curriculum for public school extra-curricular programs. I also tutor French and English students at the middle and high school levels and math at the middle school level and all subjects at the elementary level.
