Hi, I'm Eric, I'm 20 and am currently a student at the University of Colorado Denver. I'm majoring in physics so I am good at and enjoy doing math and science. After I graduate I plan on going for a doctorate in physics. I also like music. I've been playing trumpet for 13 years and have had past tutoring experience in it through my high school.
Some of my credentials include getting all A's in math and science courses throughout high school and passing the AP tests in spring 2010 in both calculus and physics. With trumpet I've been in concert bands for 13 years and jazz and marching bands for 4 years each so I can play a wide variety of music. I made the all county band both years I tried out in 8th grade and again in 10th grade.
When it comes to tutoring I like to go over what the student learned since the last time we met. Going over material more than once helps you understand it much better than going over it once and calling it a day. We will go over a wide range of problems that have to do with the subject they are learning so they can have as deep an understanding of the material as possible.
In music I like to go over a lot of different kinds of music as a warm up and for the practice time I like to go over what they learn in class to try to reinforce it.
