¿Cómo está? Soy Mr. G a sus órdenes. How are you? My name is Mr. G, I am at your service. I have been a Spanish teacher to elementary, middle and high school students and adults. I have a BA in teaching Spanish and a MA in education and a lot of related experience in education. I have been a teacher trainer and a parent trainer.
Spanish is my second language and I would like to help you eventually make it your second language. Si es tu primer idioma, entonces te puedo ayudar con la gramática y el vocabulario en inglés. (If it's your first language then I can help you with grammar and vocabulary in English.)
I have a good sense of humor and I like to make learning fun. So I am sure that you'll enjoy our time of working together. I believe that learning a language can be a good experience and you should have many opportunities to practice speaking as well as reading and writing. I will share with you my knowledge of different Spanish speaking cultures and maybe you'll have some things to share with with me.
My educational philosophy is that students should develop critical thinking skills to better meet the demands of the school curriculum. It doesn't matter if those skills are developed in Spanish, English, or any other language. Your learning goals will drive the car that gets you to your learning destination. I will help you develop those skills while improving your Spanish or English

Once you make an appointment please note that if you need to cancel a tutoring session no less than 10 hours notice must be given or a 1 hour fee will be charged to cover lesson preparation time and materials
