My goal is to help students master the subject matter. I expect excellence but do not demand perfection. I find it easy to gain the student's trust because I genuinely care to see them succeed. I have the ability to break a subject down into manageable pieces so that the student can grasp concepts easily. I prefer to teach one-on-one as I believe it is a more effective means of learning and a more efficient use of time.
Students' responses to the small steps that lead to success gives them the encouragement they need to move forward to mastery. I have homeschooled my seven children and tutored countless others in many subject areas. My expertise is in mathematics, phonics, and English. I have several degrees: Bachelor of Divinity, Associates Degree in Medical Administration, and an Accounting and Bookkeeping Certificate.
