Knowledge is nothing without the ability to communicate it. Imagine how our world would be if Steve Jobs or Bill Gates did not effectively communicate their innovative ideas - YIKES! That is why I'm here: to assist and direct those seeking guidance in the art of writing. Why use me as your writing tutor? Writing is both my passion and my gift. I possess expertise in both fiction and non-fiction writing. As a Writing Consultant at Regis University for the last three years, I assisted undergraduate and graduate students with academic papers of varying subjects and difficulties: business, biology, psychology, sociology, religion, philosophy, the list goes on. During this time, I became an expert with the majority of citation styles too (APA, MLA, Chicago). No matter what your ability, your subject, or your citation requirement, I am confident that I can hone your writing skills.
Not convinced? My non-fiction work has been published in nationally-syndicated magazines like "American Angler" and "Nvate", and I have two novellas in publication (Cornicello, The Angel of Auschwitz) with a third on the way. Additionally, I am a technical writer and website content manager for a Denver-based telecommunications company. I encourage you to contact me via email to discuss your project and the assistance you may be needing.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ADD/ADHD

With a degree in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience, I possess an understanding of ADD/ADHD from both a psychological and physiological stand-point. This understanding enables me to not only understand the intricacies of the disorder, but also the learning techniques that best suit the affected students. Additionally, I worked with children at Mount St. Vincent Home, all of whom had ADD/ADHD of various severity.

Baseball

I have been playing baseball for over 20 years. I was a 4-year starting pitcher on the varsity team in high school and I played Division II baseball at Regis University. At Regis, I was a 4-year starter and major significant contributor every season.

Bible Studies

I am a devout Catholic and studied Christianity, Judaism, and Islam at Regis University.

English

I am a Technical Writer, published Novelist, and was a Regis University Writing Consultant (2010-2012).
