My name is Jennifer and I am 43 years old. I have 2 boys who are 9 and 11 and a 2 years old. I live in Genesee, Colorado. I have been teaching students in the early years for 5 years and have tutored many children from around the world in math, language arts, writing papers, spelling, reading, ESL, computers, etc. I have been teaching in an International School in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, called Dubai American Academy prior to moving home to the USA. It is an American Curriculum school, and I can provide you with references from parents, as well as peers and supervisors. I work well with families from all backgrounds due to my international experience. I can speak some Arabic (and understand more than I speak). My background prior to becoming a teacher was focused around medicine. I worked for 4 years in pediatrics with the USAF/AD and then transferred to the USAFR where I served 11+ years as a flight medic and instructor with the 459th AES out of Andrews AFB. I have held license in PALS, LPN, ACLS, EMT, AED, Mass Casuality and so much more. My training in the USAF has provided me with a vast knowledge base and many years of fabulous opportunities to learn. Now that I am back in the USA, I plan on gong back to school to get my Physicians Assistant license. My background is vast in a variety of areas. I love to work, but decided I needed to take time off from working full time to focus on my family. I still want to be able to work and have enjoyed tutoring others in the medical field.
