I am a recent graduate from the Colorado School of Mines Physics Department. While there, I was a Lead TA for the introductory physics course and the TA for the computing section of the physics field session. While at Mines, I was also the Copy Editor for the newspaper as well as president of the Society of Physics Students, and further pushed our club to do more outreach and teaching events.
I have a great love of teaching and eventually intend to get a doctorate in physics and teach. Having a student suddenly "click" with the material is one of the joys of teaching. Teaching is more than just answering questions, it's asking the right questions and helping the student explore a topic. This leads to a better understanding of the material. I am able to do tutoring at most any level. Contact me and we can probably work something out.
