Hello,

My name is Mike, and I am a CSU graduate that has just recently moved back to Fort Collins. I have three passions in life: teaching, technology, and being outdoors. Over the many years of working with students I have found that the best way that someone learns is using language that is simpler with simple examples that are easy to follow. Unfortunately in classrooms today, many of the lessons are gone through so fast using words that are unnecessarily complex, it becomes all too easy to fall behind and feel like you can never catch up.

My approach is to take the concept or problem and step through it using everyday language and examples that anyone can relate to. If my first explanation doesn't sink in, I will try a different approach until I find one that does. I have tutored and taught across a variety of subjects from Math to physics to accounting to photography with students from middle school to a person starting their 3rd career. If you were to ask any of my previous students what they got from me, most of them would tell you that I make things simple to understand.

If you are looking for some help, I would love to work with you to get you back on track. I guarantee you will get a eternally patient tutor that will find the best way help you understand what you are currently struggling with.

As for my bio, I have a PhD in physics, undergraduate degrees in physics and math.

I wish you the best luck in finding the right tutor for you.

Sincerely,
Mike
