I have my PhD. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington and my B.S. in chemistry from Iowa State University. Rates are $60/individual and $30/person for groups.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a a BS in chemistry from Iowa State University and a PhD in inorganic chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have been tutoring chemistry for 3 years and teaching various chemistry courses for 3 years as well. All of my teaching experience is at the college level, however I can tutor people starting at 6th grade and going through graduate school.
