Hello There! My name is Shannon, and I have a BS in Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines and a M.Ed. from Colorado State University. I have experience in math through differential equations, in various sciences, but mostly chemistry (as I'm sure you already gathered), and I have lots of knowledge in different ways to instruct students so that they can learn the desired topic. I have also been in the industry for 10 plus years as both an instructional designer creating online learning courses, and as a marketing chemist. I am very familiar with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, as I have created many of each type of document. I genuinely enjoy working one-on-one with students and seeing them succeed. I believe that all students can learn any topic; it is simply a matter of presenting the information in a manner that makes most sense to that student. I look forward to working with you!
