I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008 with degrees in English and Psychology. Since then, I have spent two years teaching English in South Korea, and these experiences have inspired in me a passion for travel, languages, exploring other cultures, and--of course--teaching English to speakers of other languages! I am currently a graduate student in the Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language program at Colorado State University, as well as a writing consultant at the CSU Writing Center. My teaching philosophy is that learning must be fun in order to be effective, and so I strive to create an enjoyable learning environment for my students. I feel comfortable teaching English as a second language, as well as tutoring native-English speakers in essay writing, creative writing, and reading comprehension. I look forward to meeting you in order to discuss your or your child's learning goals, and how I might help in reaching those goals!
