With over 20 years of teaching experience, I bring a variety of strategies to help you learn and learn quickly. I have a combined total of 15 years teaching middle school and high school Spanish and 7 years teaching Spanish at the preschool and elementary level. I was also voted Middle School Teacher of the Year.
I have a BA in Spanish and postgraduate certification in English and Education. Additionally I studied in Guadalajara, Mexico through the University of Arizona and Stanford University and have traveled to Spanish speaking countries such as Mexico, Spain and Venezuela for both business and pleasure.
My love of languages inspired me to study Latin, Italian and French. As an International Sales Manager in the Corporate Sector, I have used my language skills extensively to build lasting relationships abroad.
I have written Spanish curriculum for middle school and high school students, and developed and instructed a preschool and elementary Spanish program for a local Montessori school. I have also taught Survival Spanish to adults and those traveling abroad through programs such as Doctors without Borders. I provided instruction to schoolteachers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to help them implement state mandated Spanish lessons in their classrooms.
