I am a graduate of small, private, liberal arts school, Colorado College. Like many people who go to liberal arts schools, I have a wide variety of interests and expertise.
MATH- I am currently working as a math interventionist tutor with 4th and 5th graders for Denver Public Schools. I specialize and finding gaps in kids understanding and building fundamental skills to help understand higher level mathematics.
On long breaks and weekends I am a kids ski school instructor in Crested Butte, where I grew up.
I love traveling and was a global trip leader for Rustic Pathways(a company that does international community service trips for high school students) for 2 years.
SPANISH- Traveling led me to Latin America and Spain where I lived and became fluent in Spanish. I also minored in Spanish in college and I am very familiar with Latin American studies, culture, literature, etc.
Everything I have done may seem slightly random but there are consistences in my experiences. I love working with kids and continually strive to educated myself and others.
